Kiteboarding
Originally the home of Sailboards Underground & Underground Kiteboards, the shop has a rich history in kiteboarding, being New Zealands’ original kitesurf school & retail outlet.
Windsurfing
Groundswell’s association with windsurfing dates back a while. The name Sailboards Underground has been involved with the sport since the early 80′s. Now under the guise of Groundswell, the store continues to help drive the sport forward.
SUP
Groundswell has been involved with stand-up paddle boards since the very first days of the sport. We are actively out there in the surf , on the flat, we even windsurfing them.
Wing Foiling
Groundswell was one of the first wing foil shops in NZ, helping to launch the new sport to the masses .
