WingFoiling
$350 / 2h Session
Wing foiling is taking windsports in a new direction where the only boundaries are your own imagination. Learning to use the wing is very intuitive, with most people enjoying sailing around happily in short time. The sessions take away the guess work & help you understand what is possible in very quick learning curve. Sessions start on a Standup paddle board, once you are confident on the wing, then we introduce the Foil board.
Includes gear, ideal lesson if:
- You have never done any windsports
- A great way to introduce yourself to the wing
All that is left for you is to take flight and enjoy the ride!

Can i book a specific day & time?
Can i book a specific day & time?
We’ll do our best to plan for the day you prefer, but all lessons depend on wind and tide conditions. Once you book, we’ll keep an eye on the forecast and confirm the best time slot for safe, fun conditions. If the weather doesn’t play ball, we’ll reschedule to the next suitable day — no worries at all.
What should i bring?
What should i bring?
Bring swimwear, a towel, and sunscreen — we’ll provide all the essential gear for your lesson, including wetsuits, boards, wings or kites, and safety equipment. A hat, water bottle, and warm change of clothes are also a good idea, especially if it’s breezy or cool after your session.
If you already have your own gear, feel free to bring it along — we’re happy to help you get set up and comfortable using it
Where do the lessons take place?
Where do the lessons take place?
All of our wingfoil lessons take place right here on the Christchurch Estuary — an ideal spot for learning, with consistent wind and safe, shallow water. It’s the perfect environment to get comfortable handling the wing and getting up on the foil without worrying about big surf or deep water.
We’ll confirm the best launch point and time before your session, based on wind and tide conditions.
Do I need any experience?
Do I need any experience?
Not at all! Our wingfoil lessons are designed for complete beginners through to those who’ve already tried winging or foiling before. We’ll start at your level — from learning to handle the wing on land, to balancing on the board, to getting your first flights on the foil.
If you already have experience with windsurfing, kitesurfing, or SUP, you’ll pick it up even faster — but it’s absolutely fine if this is your first wind sport.
Do I need to fill in a disclaimer?
Do I need to fill in a disclaimer?
Yes — before your first lesson, we’ll get you to fill in a quick waiver and safety disclaimer. It only takes a minute and helps us make sure you understand the conditions and safety guidelines for your session. You can complete it online before you arrive or in person on the day.
It’s all standard stuff, and it helps keep both you and our instructors covered so everyone can focus on the fun part — getting out on the water.
Can I buy a lesson as a gift?
Can I buy a lesson as a gift?
Absolutely! Wingfoil lessons make an awesome gift. You can purchase a lesson or voucher for any value, and the recipient can book their session when it suits them. We’ll provide a digital gift card (or printed version if you prefer) that’s easy to share or wrap up.
Just let us know who it’s for, and we’ll make sure it’s all set up and ready to go.
