Born from wind, waves, and innovation — Groundswell Sports is New Zealand’s original home of kiteboarding.

Originally known as Sailboards Underground and the birthplace of Underground Kiteboards, our roots run deep in the local and global wind sports scene. We were there at the start — pioneering the sport of kitesurfing in NZ and helping it grow from backyard experiments to world-class performance gear.
